What You Need to Know about Pellucid Concrete Dyes

How to Apply

To use pellucid concrete dyes, you begin by mixing the chemical according to the instructions on the container. This typically involves mixing it with acetone in small increments, mixing for 30 to 45 seconds by hand. You will want to test the dye before using it over the entire surface. After that, you can easily apply it in a circular motion using any acetone sprayer with the appropriate tip.

Tips and Precautions

When using pellucid concrete dyes, you want to always make sure that you store it in a room with a temperature between 50 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep in mind that the dye is flammable and you want to block ventilation systems before applying it. Also pay careful attention so it is spread evenly.
