Designer Epoxy Coatings for Restaurants, Nightclubs & Bars

Lumiere Designer Metallic Epoxy Coatings for bars, restaurant, and nightclubs.

Give your prime time restaurant, bar or nightclub a prime time looking floor with the Lumiere Decorative Epoxy Coating System from Duraamen.

Lumiere not only enables you to create bold, vivid colored floors and one of a kind designs, but because it has the strength of an industrial coating, it can stand up to the heaviest foot traffic. It’s also scratch resistant and can stand up to the constant moving of chairs and tables, and water and chemical resistant.

Create unique visual effects.
Lumiere’s reflective enhancer qualities enable you to create one-of-a-kind visual effects that please clients and are fun to apply — looks that would be impossible with traditional organic and metal compound pigments.

Lumiere metallic pigments are a versatile class of coloring agents, composed of fine particles of malleable metals in elemental form.

Its metallic essence retains many of the attributes of the metallic effects:
• solidity (opacity)
• metallic color
• sheen
• uv - resistance

Lumiere also gives you:

  • good clarity and color
  • low odor during application and cure (it can be applied while a building is occupied)
  • low viscosity (easy spreading and wetting properties)
  • a ‘fast cure’ option

Unlimited design possibilities
There are unlimited ways to apply this metallic epoxy and achieve dramatic, vivid, sophisticated results — and it can be done quickly and easily. Blend multiple colors, create patterns, apply accent colors, and create additional textures. It all depends on the needs of your project and the look you want to achieve.

Watch this video featuring industry expert Bob Harris for sample application techniques and inspiration, and for the best ways to seal your one-of-a-kind surface.

Sealing your new floor.
You’ve created something great. Now make sure you preserve it. Lumiere is 100% solids epoxy, so it’s not scuff or abrasion resistant. So you really need a proper seal to protect it. Watch how to prepare the surface for your coating application.

We recommend one of these top or clear coating systems:
• Perdure P98 (98% solids polyaspartic – also available in a 72% solids)
• Perdure U90 (moisture-cured polyurethane system)
• Perdure U46 (water-based gloss polyurethane)
• Perdure U45 (water-based matte polyurethane)

IMPORTANT: Application processes, curing times and when to seal vary depending on the size of your surface. Learn more about applying Lumiere.
