Choosing the right Concrete Flooring Products

You have to select the appropriate concrete flooring products for the best results. Some Duraamen products are designed for particular uses, and when used outside of their specifications, the results aren't as good.

Severity of Wear

Concrete flooring products are designed to withstand wear, but you need to figure out how much abuse your floor will take. Factors to consider are exposure to chemicals, abrasion from rubber-wheeled and steel-wheeled traffic, impact from heavy loads, and thermal shock from temperature fluctuations. Only then can you decide which Duraamen products are best able to stand up to the abuse in a warehouse or store, whether it is Perdure High Build Coating System, Perdure Traffic Coating System, or one of our other products.

Appearance

What type of concrete flooring products and appearances will contractors focus on? White, gray, pigment mixes, stamped, and polished concrete are all good choices to provide clients with. Once you have determined how you want the concrete to look, you simply need to figure out which products can help you achieve that appearance. Items like Aquacolor are water-based while other options, such as Patinaetch, rely on chemicals to create a reaction and stain the concrete.

Contractors have personal preferences for given situations, and preferred products will typically balance durability, appearance, and affordability. Duraamen can help you sort through various options to select the right one. If you're looking for integral color, we can discuss what Colorfast can bring to your project or Deso Dye and the different shades that it comes in. We can help you choose between maintenance products as well as point you in the right direction for contractors. If you have questions about maintaining your flooring once it is finished, experts at Duraamen can guide you here as well.
