Düraamen Products Qualify for LEED® Points

Düraamen is a member of US Green Building Council (USGBC) and it is committed to providing our customers with information and products that promote energy, environment and resources conservation throughout the building process. Please contact us for additional information on systems that can be used to help your project qualify for LEED® points.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®),

is a point rating system devised by the USGBC to evaluate the environmental performance of a building and encourage market transformation towards sustainable design.

LEED® certification is designated for a project and not for individual products. Düraamen products contribute to achieving LEED® points. However, the project receives certification from the USGBC based on the number of points they achieve from the types of products and the construction processes and method utilized.

  • Düraamen products have very low to zero VOC emissions
  • Düraamen concrete resurfacing products (Päram 5500, Pentimento and Sgraffino) can be installed over existing hard surface flooring like tiles, hardwood, etc. thereby not having to tear out the existing flooring saves a significant amount of materials and energy. It also contributes to cost savings.
  • The use of Düraamen products in your projects can contribute to LEED® points in Building Reuse, Recycled Content, Regional Materials, Optimize Energy Performance, Indoor Environmental Quality and Innovative Design.

Düraamen is a registered provider of AIA Continuing Education Systems. We currently have the following program registered with the AIA.
